My Craigslist System
On this Systems Saturday, I’m going to hand you the keys to my Craigslist System. I place over 1500 Ads a month on Craigslist and generate a TON of leads from it. This system’s 100% Automated and highly effective.
0:00Hey guys today it is System Saturday and I'm your host John Cochran the day that 0:04I 0:04cut it... 0:29Hey guys this is John Cochran and today it is System Saturday the day I bring 0:33you a system that 0:34that I use inside my business so you can rip off duplicate and do whatever in the world you 0:37want with it so 0:38so today what I want to talk about his Craigslist okay so I wanna talk about 0:42Craigslist 0:43but more importantly how and when to go ahead and use Craigslist because 0:47there's a very strategic approach that we used to Craigslist and that you can 0:51go ahead and use to Craigslist 0:52to in order to go and get the maximum amount of traffic from it now 0:57if you were able to go ahead and see all of our analytics 1:00of our sites okay and every every lead that we bring in craigslist is the 1:05number three 1:06okay so is the number three but the other two above that are paid 1:10okay so the two above that are all paid it's it's actually a Google 1:15and Facebook I have to pay for all those and craigslist is right behind that with 1:20you know Craigslist is right behind them but it's free traffic so free traffic 1:25so that's why we 1:26put such a big emphasis on Craigslist now 1:30a lot of people that have bought my training programs they have 1:34really learned underneath me they really understand that I go through and 1:37whenever I post ad on Craigslist I'm doing it very strategically at nine 1:42o'clock 1:43in the morning noon and then also at 5 p.m. 1:47now the reason we go ahead and we are posting ads at 9 a.m. noon and 5 p.m. is 1:52very simple 1:53because you have to think about who you're audiences who is your audience 1:57here 1:58now if you're looking for buyers then your audiences 2:02you know buyers if you're looking for sellers in your audience a seller's now 2:05what is a seller gonna be doing at nine o'clock what is a buyer gonna be 2:10be doing at nine o'clock they're probably gonna be at work aren't they? well the 2:13probably just 2:14have got to work as well so if you really step into what they're doing 2:19while they're at work 2:20at nine o'clock what do you think they're doing do you think they really 2:24cranking out work or anything like that or do you think that's kinda just 2:27getting in the mode 2:28to really go through and start working 2:31that's what they're doing they're getting into the mode and they're kinda 2:35winding up I guess or winding down whatever you want to call it 2:38in orders go ahead and start working well 2:41fortunately for us that's when they're gonna be on Craigslist looking for homes 2:46okay this is one they're gonna be on Craigslist looking for homes to buy 2:49or looking to go through and sell their homes okay so that's one reason why we 2:53do it at 9 am 2:54they just go ahead and they start to 2:58get to work and that's when they're dicking off at work 3:02okay noon okay noon why do we go ahead and do it at noon 3:06lunch break so what are they doing right before their lunch break 3:10you know what are they doing they're going ahead and they're getting into 3:13their personal life again and so they're getting into their personal life 3:16you're going through and they're posting or they're going ahead and looking at 3:20you know ads on Craigslist that's what they're doing 3:23Why 5 p.m. Getting ready to go home 3:26aren't they? They're getting ready to go home so what are they doing? 3:30they're winding completely down there to so tuned out of work that it's not even 3:34funny 3:35at an average work day guys it's funny because 3:38have an average work day of 8 hours 3:42you know people only typically work about two to three hours a day 3:45that's the whole stats of it people are only working two to three hours each 3:49and every single day 3:50and unfortunately that's what they're doing is they're doing stuff like this 3:54on Craigslist what not and that's why you need to be 3:56on Craigslist on these hours so 9 a.m. noon and 5 p.m. 4:00and I personally I have a virtual system doing online there's no way you're gonna 4:04go ahead and catch me going through 4:06and posting ads on Craigslist at 9am 4:09noon and 5 p.m. I value my time far more than going through 4:13and separating the you know it's time blocking 4:17and going through and putting that those ads right on Craigslist that time so what 4:22I wanna do 4:22gonna take my computer right now I'm gonna show you how Kelly is going ahead 4:26and doing this 4:27at 9 a.m. noon and 5 p.m. so check this out 4:31Alright so here we are at Craigslist.org 4:34and I just happend to be logged in to my Craigslist one for Dayton / 4:38Springfield because that is 4:39the area that we go through posts and now in order to go through and post 4:43these ads to Craigslist you do have to have 4:46an account with Craigslist in order to go through and do that 4:50I'm you can go ahead and get around this ice I highly suggest you go ahead and 4:55set up an account 4:56in order to go through and do this however you can go through and posed as 5:00to Craigslist it without an account but I i really only suggest as 5:04if your gonna kinda just do one ofs meaning that you maybe your looking 5:09for an assistant or whatever you're only posting like one ad 5:11a day something to that effect but I 5:15remember I just said that we we post three times a day so 5:18you really gonna need account for the so I'm gonna go ahead and sign in 5:22to one of my accounts 5:24right here and I just sign in to the account 5:28and exit this real quick now 5:31It takes you to the screen as soon as it happens and what you'll 5:34need to go through and do 5:37as you go right up here to new postings and you need to have all of your 5:40Craigslist ads written 5:43and the meantime so I'll go ahead and give you a couple my ads the I do 5:47for you can just rip off and duplicate from me and all you need to do is select your ad 5:52your posting an ad in Dayton / 5:54Springfield click go and this will bring up a 5:57screen right here that allows you to go ahead and post what section you want to 6:01go and put your 6:03ad in Craigslist now the section that you are wanting to post this in is 6:07is typically I always posted in the housing offered section 6:11okay now even if I'm looking to buy homes 6:15I always post in the housing offer section because there's a lot more 6:19traffic in that area so remember 6:22now even if it just because it says housing wanted 6:25typically meaning that I'm wantin house that's great but there's just not a lot 6:29of traffic there so you can post in both sections but I suggest doing housing 6:33offered section 6:34so go ahead and click that box right there and I always go through 6:38and click the real estate - by owner 6:42so so choose a category of real estate by owner you can do by broker as well 6:47and just do are real estate by owner check that box 6:51then then what you're doing right here is you're creating your add some what he 6:54wanted to look like 6:56now I go through and I never go ahead and put the price the bedroom and square 7:01foot on any of my ads now the reason I do that is because 7:05say I go through and put a a price a hundred thousand dollars on here 7:10so I put a price on a hundred thousand dollars now via if I have 7:13my and buyer that is looking for homes now looking to buy homes for 7:17under a hundred thousand they're not gonna look at my at if they're looking 7:20for homes 7:21over a hundred thousand maybe three hundred fifty thousand dollars 7:25they're not going to go ahead and look at my at so I leave that blank 7:28so I do that same thing for the bedrooms now if if 7:31I'm going through an I put a three bedroom right here but somebody needs a 7:35five-bedroom 7:36they're not gonna look at my at so I'm trying to go ahead and get the 7:40the maximum amount of people to see my Ad is what I'm trying to do 7:44I'm so we store all over our Craigslist free written ads in the Dropbox 7:49okay so that's where we go through and store these so if I go 7:54to our Dropbox go to the marketing section go to my Craigslist ads and then 7:58go to the active 8:00as you can see that I have folders year 9 a.m. 8:03noon and 5 p.m. so this is how my virtual assistant knows 8:07to go ahead and place ads at 9am noon and 5 p.m. 8:11very simple 9 a.m. they're clicking us and then they're getting into our ads 8:15right there 8:16okay at noon they're going through 8:19and clicking here and they will go 8:23and click the noon and we will go through and post all these ads at noon 8:28so it's very systematize 8:30okay very systematize so I was gonna say that is 9 a.m. 8:34I'm gonna go ahead and select one these ads just to show you how we're doing 8:38this 8:38saw go through again and just highlight this this is the description 8:43by the way so I'll post this description and you're not explain all this geek 8:47speak and second summer just 9:35actual text ads the ones that pull best believe it or not are just the text ads 9:40you knows that the text ads meaning you Hhey I have all three bedroom 1 bath 9:44home for sale check it out here 9:46you know these are the ads that pulls best 9:49you know I'm trying to sell his home at 123 Main Street I have to sell it today 9:54call me at this number okay so those are the ones our third 13:12biggest traffic strategy and it is free a lot of people love the word free 13:16including myself so 13:18I'm gonna go through and comment on this system Saturday now 13:21and I'm gonna go through and give you some 13:24my Craigslist ads so you can just ripp them off of duplicate them 13:28and you know start use them in your own market drive buyers leads or 13:32seller leads whatever
